Terms and conditions.

The terms for buying from the XtraPush shop and shipping with us from the UK to Malawi, on the website and in the app.

About these terms

These terms apply when you use xtrapush.co.uk or the XtraPush app, buy from the XtraPush shop, or book a shipment with us. XtraPush is a trading name of Xtrapush Gadgets Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16938444), 1 Deene Close, Corby, NN17 1HY. Contact us at info@xtrapush.co.uk.

If you are buying as a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your legal rights, including those under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. How we handle your personal data is set out in our privacy policy.

Your account

  • You must be 18 or over to create an account or place an order.
  • Keep your details accurate and your password private. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
  • An account is optional: you can browse, get a quote and check out as a guest.
  • You can delete your account at any time in the app or on the website — see how account deletion works.
  • We may suspend an account used for fraud, to ship prohibited items, or to abuse the service or our staff.

Buying from the shop

Orders. Your order is an offer to buy. The contract is made when we confirm the order by email. If an item turns out to be unavailable, or was shown at an obviously wrong price, we will tell you and refund anything you paid for it in full.

Prices. The price you pay is the total shown at checkout before you pay, including any delivery charge. Our server confirms the amount before any payment is taken.

Where items come from. Some items are in our own UK stock. Others are marked Ordered in: we order them from a supplier once you buy, so they take longer to reach you. The product page shows which is which.

Changing your mind. You can cancel an order for goods within 14 days of receiving them, without giving a reason. Tell us by email within that time, then return the item within a further 14 days, unused and with its packaging, to our UK address, 21 Legg Road, Wittering, Peterborough PE8 6AZ, United Kingdom, or by arrangement at your collection point. Unless the item was faulty or not what you ordered, you pay the cost of returning it. We refund the price and standard delivery within 14 days of getting the item back, to your original payment method. This does not apply to sealed items, such as earphones, that have been unsealed after delivery for health or hygiene reasons.

Faulty items. Goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If they are not, you can reject them for a full refund within 30 days of delivery; after that, you are entitled to a repair or replacement, or a refund if that does not work. Contact us with your order number and a photo of the problem.

Shipping with XtraPush

The service. Air shipping from the UK to Malawi. You send or bring your items to our UK receiving address; items go to the airport every Thursday and usually take around 7 days to reach Malawi, for collection at Lilongwe or Blantyre. This is an estimate, not a fixed date. Processing starts once both your payment and your parcel have reached us in the UK.

What we cannot carry. Dangerous goods are refused at airport screening, so we do not accept:

  • Perfumes, aftershave and anything alcohol-based
  • Aerosols and pressurised cans
  • Flammable liquids, gases and solids
  • Paints, solvents, thinners and nail products
  • Lighters, matches and fuel of any kind
  • Loose lithium batteries not fitted inside a device
  • Anything illegal to export from the UK or import into Malawi, including weapons, drugs and counterfeit goods.

You must describe the contents of your parcel accurately. We may inspect a parcel, and we will not ship one that contains a prohibited item; we will contact you to arrange its return or collection in the UK.

Price and weight. You pay the price shown before checkout for the weight and size you enter. We charge on the greater of the actual weight and the volumetric weight (length × width × height in cm ÷ 5000). Every parcel is re-weighed at the UK point; if it is heavier or larger than declared, we will tell you the difference before it is dispatched. Delivery to our UK address is your responsibility and cost. No customs, duty or VAT to pay on collection in Malawi.

Collection. Bring your shipment reference and photo ID, or tell us in advance who is collecting for you. Please check opening hours with us before travelling and collect promptly once we tell you your shipment has arrived.

Loss or damage. We handle every shipment with reasonable care and skill. Shipments do not include insurance or any extra protection cover; ask us for the written protection terms that apply before you book if your items are valuable. Pack items securely, and do not send cash, jewellery or irreplaceable documents.

Cancelling a shipment. You can cancel a shipping booking and get a full refund up to the point your parcel is accepted at our UK point. Once processing starts, the service has begun and the 14-day cancellation right no longer applies in full.

Payments

Payments are taken on the provider's own secure page: Revolut for cards, OneKhusa for Malawi bank and mobile-money payments, or your XtraPush Wallet. We never see or store your full card number. Prices are in pounds sterling unless shown otherwise; if you pay in another currency, the provider or your bank sets the exchange rate.

XtraPush Wallet is a separate service at pay.xtrapush.space with its own terms. The XtraPush app only uses it to pay for goods and shipping.

Our responsibility to you

If we break these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for business losses (such as lost profit) where you are buying as a consumer, or for delays caused by events outside our control, such as flight cancellations, airport screening, customs action, strikes or severe weather. If one of these happens we will tell you and do what we can to limit the delay.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

Using the website and app

Do not misuse the website or app: no attempts to break its security, scrape it in bulk, place fake orders or interfere with other customers. Content, logos and the XtraPush name belong to us. We work to keep the service available but may pause it for maintenance.

Complaints and the law

If something has gone wrong, email info@xtrapush.co.uk with your order or shipment reference and we will reply as soon as we can.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you can bring proceedings in the English courts. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to an order or shipment is the one shown when you placed it; the date below shows when this page last changed.
